Acquisitions Criterias

We are looking to acquire profitable businesses with between $1M to $10M in annual sales revenue, and an EBITDA or SDE of at least $1M.

Asking Price: Typically in the $2M–$5M range.

We focus on owners who have built solid organizations and are now looking to retire, reduce their involvement, or pursue other ventures. Ideally, these businesses have not been aggressively promoted or scaledin recent years.

We bring in the right people to lead and support operations — whether that means retaining your current teamor recruiting new leadership through our trusted network of talent partners and advisors.

We seek companies with a minimum of 5 years in operation and at least 3 years of financial statements and tax reports.

We are building a portfolio of cash-generating businesses with a long-term holding strategy (minimum 5 years). We are backed by a committed group of investors and operators who take a mid-to-long-term approach, focused on sustainable growth and ongoing dividends.

BEST CO Investment LLC is a long term investor. We do not ‘flip’ investments or seek to generate returns through short term financial tactics.

In general, we seek to fund and close transactions about 30 to 90 days after we enter a letter of intent.

BEST CO Investment LLC will not run the company, the management team will. BEST CO Investment LLC will partner with the management team to determine any changes required to improve performance.

No, if BEST CO Investment LLC (buyer) stops making payments at any time, we will return company shares immediately. The seller will always have the option to buy back shares at any point.

Yes, the down payment commitment letter from the lender. We maintain a large rolodex of lenders we partner with to complete acquisitions. Note: commitment letters are only issued if the borrower and company meet underwriting requirements. A commitment letter is a document that lets everyone in the transaction know that the lender is prepared to make a loan to repay the borrower.

In some cases, we’ll sign a promissory note (a promise to repay the loan).

Depending on the needs of the company. At times, we are the outsourced CFO, the business development team or the strategic consultant. At all times, we are interested and active board members.
